From May 29 to 31, 2026, the area surrounding Zürich's Hall 622 transforms once again into a vibrant meeting point for the European cannabis community. The Buds and Beats Festival is the official supporting program of the International Hemp Trade Fair CannaTrade, which celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2026 — a quarter century of Swiss and European hemp history.
Across more than 6,000 square meters inside and around the hall, around 150 exhibitors from around the world present products and information on the industrial, medical, and recreational use of the hemp plant. While the CannaTrade trade fair runs indoors, the Buds and Beats Festival creates atmosphere outside: chill-out area, international food stands, gaming and art zones, as well as smoking and music zones with live programming from Radio RaBe.
Highlights of the anniversary edition include the Joint-Roll-Championship, the presentation of the CannaSwissCup 2026 for the best CBD varieties, a new B2B day on Friday, and an exclusive CB-Lounge for business guests. The festival grounds are a mix of trade fair, open-air event, and community meeting point — ideal for anyone who wants to combine industry news, music, and relaxed networking.
