Cannafest Prague takes place for the 14th time in 2026 and is one of the largest international trade fairs for cannabis and hemp products in Europe. From November 6-8, the PVA Expo Praha Letňany exhibition center opens its doors to thousands of visitors from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and beyond. For anyone wanting to learn about current trends, products, and regulations, Cannafest is an important date – and thanks to its location in Prague, it’s also easily accessible for short trips.
What to expect
The trade fair impresses with its diversity. Around 250 exhibitors present the full spectrum of cannabis and hemp: from grow equipment and fertilizers to seeds and cuttings, as well as CBD products, extracts, cosmetics, and hemp food products. Vaporizers, accessories, and fashion made from industrial hemp are also represented. The offering caters to both private individuals and commercial growers and entrepreneurs.
A key focus of Cannafest is the accompanying expert conference with international speakers. Current topics are discussed here: cannabis medicine, legal frameworks in different countries, professional cultivation practices, market development, and future trends. These presentations offer insights into professional operations and help visitors better understand the European regulatory landscape.
Cannafest appeals to a broad audience – from curious beginners and home growers to professionals and entrepreneurs. The atmosphere is factual and informative, not overly commercial.
Location and getting there
The trade fair takes place at the PVA Expo Praha Letňany exhibition center (Beranových 667, Prague). The venue is located in northern Prague and is easily accessible by public transport – the U-Bahn line C runs directly to the exhibition center. Those arriving by car will find parking on-site.
For German visitors, Prague is particularly attractive: the city is quickly reached by direct flight (approximately 2 hours from Berlin, Munich, or Frankfurt), by car (approximately 4–6 hours from southern Germany), or by train (night trains from Berlin or Munich). A weekend trip to Cannafest can easily be combined with sightseeing.
Tickets and prices
Cannafest is one of the most affordable major cannabis trade fairs in Europe. Day tickets cost from 100 CZK (approximately 4 euros) in advance, three-day passes from 200 CZK (approximately 8 euros). At the box office, prices are slightly higher: day tickets 300 CZK, three-day passes 500 CZK. If you want to use all three days, advance booking saves you significantly.
Tickets are available through the official website. Booking early is worthwhile – in previous years, Saturdays in particular sold out quickly.
Why this event?
In recent years, Cannafest has established itself as the central industry meeting point for Central Europe. One reason for this is Czech legislation: since liberalization, adults are allowed to privately grow up to three cannabis plants. This has revitalized the local scene and makes Prague a natural hub for exchange and business.
For German visitors, the trade fair is particularly valuable for learning about the European hemp landscape beyond their own borders. You meet breeders, manufacturers, and experts from dozens of countries, learn how other markets are regulated, and can draw inspiration. The expert conferences also provide deep insights into topics that are still controversial in Germany.
Plus, Prague is a livable city with a great cultural offering. If you visit Cannafest, you can easily stay a few days longer and explore the Bohemian capital.
You’ll find all details, current information, and tickets on the Cannafest Prague 2026 event page.
