Konopex is the Czech Republic's second-largest cannabis trade fair after Cannafest and has established itself as a fixed meeting point for the Moravian and Central European hemp scene. From April 24-26, 2026, the ninth edition takes place in the impressive industrial monument Trojhalí Karolina in Ostrava.
Opening hours are family-friendly: Friday from 1 to 8 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. Visitors can expect a combination of classic trade fair and festival atmosphere. Exhibition areas include grow equipment, seeds, post-harvest processing, cannabis products, smoke accessories, as well as medical and legal advice — particularly regarding the new Czech regulation that allows adults to grow up to three plants for personal use.
Highlights include the Fundación CANNA lecture hall with expert talks, the Terra Aquatica Music Stage, a dedicated Cannabis Cup competition, and an afterparty with electronic music. Seniors over 65, people with disabilities, and children under 13 receive free admission.
Online tickets start at 200 CZK for day passes and 300 CZK for a three-day pass. Ostrava is easily accessible by train from Prague, Vienna, or Krakow and offers German visitors a budget-friendly alternative to Western European hemp fairs.
