The Cannafair is considered the most important hemp trade fair in North Rhine-Westphalia and takes place in 2026 from August 21 to 23 at the Boehler area in Düsseldorf-Meerbusch. The former industrial hall with its distinctive steel architecture offers a unique atmosphere for cannabis, culture, and community.
Following the visitor record of over 20,000 guests in 2025, the organizer expects another significant increase in 2026. The focus is on regional providers from the Rhineland and Ruhr Valley, as well as international brands from the Netherlands, Spain, and Italy. The range extends from CBD cosmetics to vaporizers and grow equipment to hemp food products and medical cannabis.
The Cannafair is particularly popular because of its relaxed festival character: there is live music, food trucks, lounges, and a comprehensive lecture program on law, medicine, and cultivation. Associations and cultivation communities under the new Cannabis Act have their own area where they can introduce themselves to interested parties.
The Boehler area is accessible by car via the A52 and by U-Bahn (U70, U74, U76 to Lörick station). Exhibitors and visitors from the Rhineland appreciate the short distances — the Cannafair is now a fixed date in the German cannabis calendar.
