What to expect
GreenTech Amsterdam is one of Europe’s largest trade shows for horticulture technology. From June 9–11, 2026, manufacturers and service providers from around the world will present their solutions for modern horticulture — and professional cannabis cultivation has been a firm part of the program for several years now.
The trade show is divided into two areas: The classic exhibition floor showcases systems for lighting, climate control, irrigation, substrates, and automation. At the same time, dedicated conference tracks run with expert presentations on GMP-compliant production, LED strategies, energy efficiency, and sustainability. The Cannabis Track is aimed at producers, founders, and operators of cultivation facilities looking to optimize their processes or plan new growing areas.
GreenTech is particularly valuable for German-speaking cultivators: Many technologies that make Dutch paprika or tomato cultivation efficient can be directly applied to cannabis. Exhibitors come from the Netherlands, Israel, Denmark, and North America — their solutions are compatible within the EU and are often already established in European supply chains.
The audience consists of cultivation operations, system builders, investors, and suppliers. If you’re scaling or planning new growing areas in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland, you’ll find the cutting edge of cultivation technology here and can engage directly with established and innovative providers.
Location and getting there
GreenTech takes place at RAI Amsterdam, one of the largest trade show grounds in the Netherlands. The RAI is located in southern Amsterdam, approximately 4 kilometers from the city center, and is easily accessible by public transport.
By plane: Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) is one of Europe’s largest airports. From there, trains run directly to the city center and to bus lines that go to the RAI. Travel time is approximately 30–40 minutes.
By train: From Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, there are direct or easy connecting trains to Amsterdam. The main train station is centrally located; from there it’s about 15–20 minutes by subway or bus to the RAI.
By car: The RAI has parking on-site. Travel time from Germany varies by region from 6–10 hours. Information on parking fees can be found on the RAI website.
Tickets and prices
Ticket prices and categories will be announced on the official GreenTech website in the coming weeks. Typically, large trade shows offer several options: day tickets, 3-day passes, and early-bird discounts for advance bookings. Professional visitors (e.g., facility managers, system builders) often receive discounted or free tickets upon accreditation.
Keep an eye on the official GreenTech website — ticket sales and current prices will be announced there as soon as they are confirmed.
Why this event?
GreenTech 2026 is one of the few major European trade shows where cannabis cultivation is anchored not as a niche segment, but as a full-fledged professional area. This means: You’ll meet not just cannabis specialists, but also manufacturers whose technologies were originally developed for other crops but are highly relevant for cannabis.
The trade show offers the opportunity to see systems live, negotiate with manufacturers, and learn from other operators. If you want to grow in a regulated market, you need reliable partners and proven technology — GreenTech brings both together.
Use the time before the event to register and plan your visit goals. Many exhibitors offer appointment bookings.
